Puruborá is a critically endangered language of the Tupian family, spoken in the Brazilian state of Rondônia in the municipality of Costa Marques and around the headwaters of the Rio São Miguel. Within Tupian it is classified together with the Ramarama languages in a Puruborá-Ramarama branch. As of 2015 only two native speakers remained, out of an ethnic Puruborá population of 243 recorded in 2014, though a community-led revitalization effort has begun teaching the language in a local indigenous school.
