The Bagirmi languages are about half a dozen languages of the Central Sudanic language family, spoken in southern Chad. The most widely spoken is Naba, used by the Bilala, Kuka and Medogo peoples, who together number about 250,000 speakers; other languages in the group include Barma, also called Bagirmi proper, Kenga, Fer, Beraku and Disa, with Ethnologue additionally documenting Jaya, Morom and Gula.
