Boan, also called Buan or Ababuan, is a proposed intermediate group of Bantu languages coded Zones C and D in Guthrie's classification, part of the Niger-Congo family's Bantoid branch. The group is spoken in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and South Sudan and divides into the Bati-Angba (Bwa) branch and the Komo-Bira languages.
