Athabaskan and Na-Dene

This group collects members of the Athabaskan (Athapaskan) branch of the Na-Dene family, one of the most geographically dispersed indigenous language groupings of North America, spoken from interior Alaska and northwestern Canada south in scattered pockets to the American Southwest (Navajo and the Apachean languages) and northern California and Oregon. Placement follows each member's own description naming it Athabaskan, Athapaskan, Na-Dene or Dene.
