Dime, or Dima, is a South Omotic language of the Afroasiatic family spoken around Mount Smith in the Debub Omo Zone of Ethiopia's Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region. Its two dialects, Us'a and Gerfa, together fell from about 6,293 speakers in Ethiopia's 1994 census to roughly 574 by the 2007 count out of 11,000 ethnic Dime, leaving the language endangered and without an established writing system or school support.
