The South Bauchi languages, also called Barawa or B.3 West Chadic, are a branch of about thirty eight West Chadic languages spoken across Bauchi and Plateau states in Nigeria, documented in surveys by Gowers in 1907 and by Kiyoshi Shimizu in the mid 1970s. The group divides into the Zaar, Guruntum and Boghom clusters, covering languages such as Dass, Geji, Saya, Guruntum-Mbaaru and Boghom.
