The Angas languages, also known as Angas-Sura or Central West Chadic, are a branch of the West Chadic languages within the Afro-Asiatic family. They are spoken in Plateau State, north-central Nigeria, particularly in the Shendam and Mangu local government areas. Unlike many other West Chadic languages, they lack complex nominal and verbal morphology, having developed a more isolating structure through contact with neighboring Plateau languages.
